McKenzie’s Adventures LLC is an educational consultant business that began with the understanding that there is a need to create accessible and fair culturally responsive resources, and opportunities for children of color to academically and socially succeed in schools and the workplace. We pride ourselves in collaborating with a global network of schools, districts, organizations, and EdTech companies to design classroom curricula, professional learning resources, and global experiences that align with the interest, culture, and experiences of both the students and educators.

Our culturally relevant children’s books, project-based learning resources, professional learning opportunities, and services are reflective of our beliefs; student achievement can ultimately be carried out when educators cultivate learning environments and experiences that exude high expectations for all children, while meeting their individual needs.
This idea began with the practice of acknowledging there is a need for students of color to be introduced to text that coincides with their true ancestral history. For this reason, we supply an array of support for all participants that focus on cultural responsiveness, problem solving, diversity, equity, inclusion and joy.
